Energy Audit training - Commercial buildings

A 2 day Energy Auditing course is ideal for those involved the management and reporting of energy, emissions, and costs. The course covers the three levels of energy audits set out in the Australia Standard:
  
  • Level 1 Benchmarking (similar to the requirements for NABERs);
  • Level 2 Detailed Energy Analysis and Investigation
  • Level 3 Investment

The course is ideal for NABERs assessors, engineers, facility managers, consultants, and energy managers wanting to increase their ability to identify and evaluate opportunities to significantly improve efficiency and reduce energy, costs, carbon taxs, and emissions without sacrificing services or conditions.

This course offers the opportunity to learn how to undertake a detailed energy audit of a commercial building(s) and large sites, how to apply energy efficiency and management principles, and how to identify and evaluate potential initiatives.

Presented by experienced energy auditor the course will provide practical examples of energy auditing and application of findings. Participants will learn:

  • How to organise and undertake an energy audit step by step.
  • How to analyse and interpret energy usage, trends and demand information and data.
  • The role energy management plays in reducing carbon tax costs.
  • How to identify opportunities and waste
  • How to evaluate projects, paybacks, and build a business case for projects.
  • How to reduce energy, cost, and waste without sacrificing conditions.
  • How to calculate greenhouse gas emissions and cost impacts.
  • What equipment and tools to use.
  • How to put an energy audit report together.
