NGER, Clean Energy Act, Carbon Tax, ETS, and NCOS Carbon Neutral
This is the ideal course for those involved the management and reporting of carbon emissions, abatement, permits, credits, and costs. It will provide delegates with the knowledge to identify and account for their organisation emissions; to determine their reporting obligations; to assess the impact of the carbon tax, clean energy bill on their operations, costs, and supply chain; to develop emissions management strategies; to streamline data collection to reduce the cost of compliance costs and to optimise performance.
Over 2 days, participants learn about emissions, emission sources, the National Greenhouse Gas and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme legislation, the Clean Energy Act, the ETS, the National Carbon Offset Scheme Carbon Neutral Program and the Carbon Tax as well as how to calculate and classify emissions, how to utilise the information gathered to optimise business operations and reduce costs, and how to implement a carbon management strategy and hierarchy within an organisation (especially those with large numbers of sites).
This course is the only course in Australia to be designed by experts experienced in implementing carbon management and reporting systems, and in auditing the same types of systems as independent verifiers and NGER Auditors approved by the Federal Government. Our presenters are experienced carbon management and accounting consultants.
